Hello Guys!
Welcome to another exciting blog post where I’ll be sharing my beautiful experience of visiting Udaipur, Rajasthan during my college winter holidays this January. If you have ever dreamed of exploring a city filled with history, royal palaces, breathtaking lakes, and mouthwatering food, then Udaipur is the perfect destination for you!
First Impressions of Udaipur
As soon as I reached Udaipur, the first thought that crossed my mind was – “I hope this trip turns out to be full of fun and excitement!” And trust me, it was beyond amazing. I had never seen such a beautiful city in my life. Every place I visited had its own charm, history, and unexplainable beauty.
From Lake Pichola to City Palace, from Bagore Ki Haveli to the Monsoon Palace, every moment was special. One of the best parts of my trip was renting a scooty and riding to Bahubali Hills, where the view was absolutely breathtaking. The stunning landscapes and peaceful environment made the experience unforgettable.
Exploring the Beauty of Udaipur
Here are some of the must-visit places in Udaipur that I explored:
Lake Pichola – The Heart of Udaipur
One of the most famous lakes in Udaipur, Lake Pichola is known for its awesome sunset views. I also enjoyed a boat ride on the lake, which was truly memorable. Seeing the Jag Mandir and Lake Palace in the middle of the water felt like a dream! and remind me of our strong scientific history.
City Palace – A Glimpse into Royalty
The City Palace of Udaipur is an architectural masterpiece. The moment I entered, I was amazed by the beautiful carvings, grand courtyards, and stunning views of the city from the palace windows. It gave me a glimpse of the rich history of Rajasthan and its royal lifestyle.
Bagore Ki Haveli – A Cultural Gem
In the evening, I visited Bagore Ki Haveli and attended the Dharohar Folk Dance Show. The traditional Rajasthani dances and performances were a must to watch! If you ever visit Udaipur, make sure you don’t miss this cultural experience.
Bahubali Hills – A Hidden Paradise
One of my favorite spots in Udaipur was Bahubali Hills. The view from the top was breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and experience the nature’s beauty. If you love scenic views and photography, this place is a must-visit!
Monsoon Palace – A Scenic Ride
Riding up to the Monsoon Palace on a scooty was one of the most fun experiences of my trip. The view of the entire Udaipur city from the top was simply awesome. It was a great place to visit during sunset for some stunning panoramic views.
The Taste of Rajasthan – Dal Bati Churma
A trip to Rajasthan is incomplete without tasting its authentic cuisine. I tried the famous Dal Bati Churma at a restaurant inside City Palace, and it was an experience in itself!

The way Rajasthani people serve this traditional dish with lots of ghee, spicy dal, crispy bati, and sweet churma makes it even more special. The taste was completely unique, and I absolutely loved it! If you ever visit Udaipur, make sure to try this dish.
